SITE RENOVATION SLIDE SHOW
Originally built in the 1960’s as an asphalt paving production facility, the site was abandoned in 2005, leaving behind tens of thousands of hardened liquid asphalt in the underground pipeline and above-ground tanks. The remediation and renovation of the site, to become a designated biodiesel terminal, took 8 years and millions of dollars to complete.
WHO WE SERVE
Hoku Kai Biofuels serves large industrial companies in the energy and shipping sectors through its sister company, Makana Energy. The terminal has the capacity for production, storage, and breaking bulk. We do not serve the general public.
